This program seeks to train unemployed or underserved individuals in how to use mechanical equipment such as MEWP (Aerial and Scissor Lifts) and Forklift. Topics to be covered will be operator and user responsibility, pre-start inspections, hazards involved in operating, preventing accidents and identifying hazards. This activity will be hands-on. We anticipate conducting two trainings in 2023 and 30-40 participants. The activity is conducted by certified instructors through collaboration with large National Construction Equipment suppliers.
